How often do you install apps?

With so many free apps available with Android, it is super easy to install a countless number of them, storage-space permitting.
How often do you install a new app? Do you install multiple in one day or once in a while?
What's the turn-over rate for your apps? Do they get kicked out just as quickly as they are installed?

I would say I install maybe 5 a week. They often lose there place quite quickly because I'm mostly testing them for articles and such. The ones that have stuck lately are Dumb Ways to Die, Pixlr Express and Governor of Poker 2.

Admittedly I'm probably not the best person to represent ''normal'' as I generally download 3-5 new apps a day. Some are for work, some are for me, some never get opened and most never get deleted. I've already got 10 app screens on my three-week old phone. But one of these days I'll run out of space and have to start culling the less useful/fun ones.

I go into phases. One time I went into a complete Tetris Clone frenzy, installing about a dozen total, just because they all looked and handled a little different. Another time, I went into a full fledged Angry Birds frenzy installing every one I could get my hands on, just so I could play them to death. Flash Broswers, email clients, Mahjong and different themed games, ect.

There are times when I don't install apps for months. Then there are the other times when I just go nuts and can't get enough of it!

im addicted to apps ..i used to install 3 apps in a week maybe more!!

If I drink too much I'll install a constant stream. Otherwise maybe 1 or 2 a month. I still have apps on my sd card I used with my g1 that I haven't tried. So rarely ever do I delete them.

I used to install a couple a day or so (and delete them after an open, usually), but that decreased to now I rarely install. Maybe once a month or two. I most definitely do not hold on to ones I'm not using. "Delete that sucker" is my motto. When it suits me. ;)

when I meet some great apps I like, I will install it on my phone, I have installed over 40 app on my samsung galaxy s3

For me I can go a week or two just playing the apps I already have and not installing any new ones. And then I'll install about 10 in a day. So, like other people, I go through different phases and it's hard to estimate, overall, how many apps i download.
