Twitter soon to introduce more ads into platform

We've had this question elsewhere and the response is generally the same - no one likes advertising in apps, but that is what keeps them free, so we can't really be too upset when developers eventually introduce advertising or otherwise monetize them. After all, Twitter with ads is probably better than no Twitter at all. Plus, it means alternative apps will get more of a look-in if ad-haters shy away from the official app, so I don't think it's so bad. Although I too, hate ads anywhere in my apps, I still understand their existence.
