I prefer Camera360 over any stock camera.... It features the ability to turn off the shutter sound.

Open camera, go to settings. Scroll down through the settings and there should be an option for Shutter Sound on or off. I THINK the Note 2 has that option. If so, that's where it'll be!

Oh... quite so. Sorry. :)
Most versions (as in region-based) of the Note 2 will silence the shutter sound if the phone is on mute or vibrate. Would that do ya?

Hey @plck74, there's a really good app by an XDA Dev called Note 2 Hidden Settings which you can grab from the Play Store. It just takes the various CSC files and makes them easily modifiable through an interface. Quite clever really, and one of the things you can change is the shutter sound. hope this helps!
