Playing part of video through server while rest through sdcard in android mobile

I am planning a video to be played as follows: 1.Say 90% of the video to be played on android mobile through it's sdcard/internal memory. 2.Rest 10% of it is played by the mobile through the server after getting the required permission through password etc. This should be done seamlessly without causing any problem. My question is- is it possible in an android application.If possible than please explain in detail.Thanks

P.S I don't want to play the full video from server.Nor allow the server part of video to be downloaded.Is there a video player that can do this type of job.
