I am new to Android development as I just received this table as a gift.
Ok, I am running Linux, Slackware 14.1 on a 32 bit AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+ cpu. I installed Java 7u45 and the ADT bundle. Eclipse will run, but it always gives an error that it couldn't connect to adb.
I tried starting adb from cli, but it gave a could not connect error.
I then booted XUbuntu 13, dual boot system, and tried agian after installing the above. It also would not start adb, but Xububtu said the adb task failed with a SIGILL, illegal instruction error.
I have searched and not found a cause for this.
Has anybody else had this problem or knows an answer? I have seen problems with some software ONLY wanting an Intel processor. Is this one of those cases?
