Hello again, folks.
I finally managed to create an OWN, second activity within my application package, which is capable of using SharedPreferences.
It works like this: I created an application which has two activities.
The main activity is the one, which the user uses.
The second one is, via intent, only available from account manager, Means, I add an account to the default android account manager.
This account has 7 credentials,. which are implemented as Views on an own activity.
The user enters the credentials, the account is being created, the credemtials are saved as SharedPreferences.
All this works, the main activity reads the preferences and applies them to connect to db. All nice. All works.
Now I go back to the account manager and click on my recently created, custom account.
What I see is a preference screen ( which I made just of interest to see, how it works).
But I do not want this preference screen. I want my view, which I used to create the account.
How can I achieve this ?
THX in advance.
