It happens that sometimes we forget a password for one of our accounts. Here I will explain how to recover a Gmail password using these simple steps:

1. Go to
2. Click on "Need Help? (under the sign in button)
3. Select "I don't know my password" then type in your Gmail address
4. Confirm your email address by clicking on "Yes,continue"
5. It will ask you to enter your password. Since you do not know it, click on "I don't remember"
6. Here you will choose how you want to reset your password either via phone or email.
7. Once you receive your code, type it in where it says "Enter that code here"
8. You will be asked next to enter a new password and confirm it.
9. You have now successfully recovered your password!

I had to do this once a couple of years ago, but then it seemed much harder. How secure is this? Can someone use this process to gain access to your account?

H-Data Recovery Master is not bad. I tried a lot of recovery tool, only H-Data Recover 95% of my lost files.

You have not recovered your password, you have reset it. Most people are trying to find out what there password is so they can use the account on another device or something similar not change it.

Maybe ask the help service with your phone number and maybe if u send them an ID card or anything else - this can be a possible way, but I am totally not sure if this is going to happen.

I also verify my Google ID with my phone number and it functions very easy.

And I use Google from different IPs, so in my opinion that shouldn't be a or the problem...

Follow these steps to recover your lost Gmail password

  1. Open Gmail
  2. Click on forgot password
  3. It will ask about mobile number or recovery email ID, provide it
  4. Now you will get verification code on it, write it when ask
  5. Now set a new Gmail password
