Types of Galaxy S3

Hi All I am a rookie on here [first post]
I am currently looking to buy a galaxy note 3 on ebay [a flaming MINEFIELD]
My problem is nobody seems to know which are a,chinese b,clones c,regional etc
I see a lot of phones 9005[4g i think?] then zwebtu or zkebtu or zwephn
What are these letters? are they uk phones?
I want to buy a phone I can use with a local sim in Europe and USA My current phone [galaxy s3] works anywhere with a local sim
I am an oldie goldie please help before I pull the rest of my hair out. regards john

It's hard to tell on eBay as the information you see is only what the seller wants you to see, or what he knows. Most copies are from China, where manufacturers aren't breaking any laws by naming a phone star-9005 N3, and re-sellers have no qualms about failing to describe phones properly. It's the usual rules, though; buy from someone with a very high rep, preferably from the UK (in your case) or EU, contact them via eBay for written verification that it is a genuine Note 3, and if it seems to good to be true then it probably is.
