Samsung Galaxy Note 3 — Can't set default dialer app

Hi, I tried to make third party dialer app as my default dialer but it can't work. When I press a dialer icon any launcher, it always ask me choose a default, I did it, but it always ask me for the next time. Other launcher or sms app can work properly, except dialer. Does anyone know this issue?

Well, that's seems weird first try clearing the cache and data stored by the stock Dialer, go to the settings> application manager> select the application and clear its data, then again try to make the third party application default.

If you go into device administrator (settings, security) does it have an option for the app?

It could possibly be a launcher issue. ADW caused me problems in the past with default apps. I'd try a different launcher and clearing the default setting in your stock dialer app through the app manager.

Hi there!
I have the same problem with my note3
I also tried to set default dialer with third party default manger application, and it simply does not work!
It seems default dialer cannot be set in note3...
