Can someone please tell me why i have to login to my EE account now to view picture messages

Hey Chris!
I'm not an EE customer, but I did a little snooping around and found out that you have to log into your account to accces these pictures. Do you have the EE Photo Message add-on? I found out more about this on this webpage which explains the Photo Messaging add-on.
