Hi all
Android announced project L during the Google I/O on Tuesday and you probably have many questions, like what is it, why doesn't it have a candy name yet, and what is the verison number. You might also be aksing yourself, what does Android L even bring to new devices and when is it coming to mine?
Why doesn't it have a name and number?
Android L is just a developer pre-beta version of the final firmware that will actually be coming to your device. So they are likely still deciding on a name and a version number, or esle they know and aren't telling us.
When is it coming to my device?
It is said that it will be finally made available to consumers in the fall of 2014, which could be between September and November 2014. HTC for one already promised the update to its flagships 90 days after the official release.
