Samsung Galaxy S3 — WIFI problem

I have had no wifi on my phone for months now.I have read many forums related to this but nothing seems to work .Any more ideas?Thanks in anticipation Andrew

Are you stock or custom ROM and which one, what modem/radio do you use and what WiFi and security apps then we maybe able to help

I am a stock rom,just done a factory reset and no change there

Go to safe mode and check whether the problem exist ?

Download the latest firmware and flash it with Odin or
try emergency firmware recovery with kies

I don't seem to be able to find the firmware on Sanmobile ,none of the numbers correspond.

Have you tried selecting wifi connection then ask to forget.
Now reconnect.
Have you got wifi set to Always on?
Have you got power saving activated? If so switch it off.
But to make sure it's not the chip, can you confirm you have bluetooth working as it works on the same module.

if you can't find the firmware try emergency firmware recovery with kies

The connection doesn't get that ,it immediately turns itself off.I have just checked bluetooth and that is not working either.I have found the firmware eventually but I am very wary of doing anything like that.I am now going to charge the the phone ,then connect to Kies and try the above. Thanks for your help,see what happens .Andrew

WiFi and Bluetooth are not working .looks like hardware problem. go to the Samsung service center
any way try emergency firmware recovery with kies. there will be no change of getting it back this is a hardware problem
