Well, @Alan I guess you have already got your query answered by our members i.e. use Airdroid. Anyway I have one more alternative you can sync videos clips by taking help from Google Drive, DropBox like cloud storage services.

With USB cable there are many tools could help you sync video from Android to PC, such as Syncios, MobileTrans, iTools and more.
Without USB cable why not try some cloud service so that you can upload from your Android to the clould directly, and then download it from computer when you need it. Such as Dropbox, cloudrive and more.

Yeah cloud storage will be a easier solution.I suggest dropbox
