Hi everyone - Newbie here!
Just bought Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 and set up my email to receive from my email server.
Everything worked fine for a week - then I stopped getting emails on the tablet.
I was still getting them on my Blackberry.
I checked the settings and everything said it was syncing every 5 mins.
I removed the email account and reentered it.
Everything worked fine again for just over a week.
Then exactly the same problem.
So I deleted the account and reentered it and it worked again.
Anyone got any ideas or should I just junk this email app and use something else?

Have you tried removing the email accounts and adding them back? If, it didn't work than try to clear your email cache. I hope it will solve your problem.

I think this problem is due to the protocol that you have selected.
IMAP or POP3.

Once I have set up the mail in IMAP and faced similar problems.
try changing the receiving protocol to POP3 if you are using IMAP and vice versa and see the result.

POP3 does not sync emails across devices. Only with that device and the Comcast email server. So if you delete an email on our tablet, it will still be there on your phone or computer. And removing and adding the email accounts is only a temporary fix. It will stop syncing again and we shouldn't have to continuously remove and add the account. Any other ideas out there?
