Adding 2nd device to Google Play Store

I have an LG Optimus L9. I can install apps to it from Google Play Store on my desktop. My wife just got a Samsung Galaxy S5. I've followed all the steps for adding it as an additional phone/device on my Google Play, but it just doesn't show up as an option. It just shows my LG. My wife set up a Gmail account on her S5, as required, but still no luck. I'm new to this forum and I'd appreciate some advice. Thank you

i think you need to use the same email account on both the devices.
