Is there an app to instantly back up both received and sent sms messages to gmail immediately as they come in or are sent?

There are a few apps that can backup your SMS. I use SMS Backup & Restore as it can send backups to an email account and be scheduled to backup as often as you want.

iKey-Monitor can restore the both received and sent SMS and REMOTELY send the logs to your gmail.
