Hi all, this is Manoj...new to this forum...also new to android app development...would really appreciate if you could share some tips on the following technical matters:
a. Is it possible to design an APP which can then transmit and receive data at the ISM band ( 2400- 2500 mHz ) using a modulation which is different from WiFi/ Bluetooth? By using the same resources for wifi / bluetooth.....Its like using the baseband processing section to generate a new signal and then upconvert using the wiFi RF and then transmit..Is this possible using smartphones??
b. Is it possible to control the RF section of wifi/bluetooth to program the transmission frequency? Also to turn the RF / power amplifier ON/OFF? Are these functions available to an APP within a smartphone??
thanks very much & hoping to receive some feedback....
Manoj
