Samsung Galaxy S4 — Running out of storage space

"Storage Space running out". What a totally USELESS message!!

It's actually a statement with no suggestions as to how to resolve the situation......

So, with no hints or clues offered, what exactly should I ditch to CREATE some space, and more importantly, HOW?

Any input would be gratefully received.

If you go into the storage settings and tap Cached Data, you can cleat the cache and free up space on your phone.

Thanks Carson,

However I have already done as you suggest but to no avail.

I strongly suspect that if I was able to ditch the 90% of Samsung standard "utilitys" (which I have neither understanding of nor need of) would resolve the problem entirely!!

How can I get rid of them? I already selected the disable option but of course that still leaves these useless apps in place consuming MY memory.

Is there a way to ditch them?
