This sounds very much like The American Media trying to world dominate through copyright under the disguise of "security"
good luck to them - both Microsoft and Google cannot stay ahead of the kids of today forever, one of them will blow their glass towers over - when it gets to the stage where nothing can be said or done due to a breach of someone "owning" it via copyright then the world as we know it will fall apart.
