Suspension of application from Google Play store?

Well, that clearly states that your app is violating some IP policy i.e. your application is very much similar with some other application over their store. I would say it may have happen because you have mistakenly put the logos or images which is similar with some other, anyway there’s nothing more you can do other than removing all the copyright image, or anything and can

Also note that this was your second warning then I would say better to move ahead more cautiously, this time if you violate their guidelines you are going to get your developer account suspended.

Hey @Somnadh, Yes you are correct previously, it was but now they are getting strict and stricter with the apps quality, think it like this there are "1,418,037" or maybe more apps available over the store and (according to my opinion) I don't think now they require developers to design app for their platform, but now developer need help of PlayStore in order to earn some profit out of it (reason it has larger user base to target)! And Google knows this very well, previously they were getting criticism because of having low quality app and now they have started fixing things up ! What this means is every developer needs to give quality otherwise they are going to get their developer account suspended .

And one more thing which I missed is the percentage of low quality apps over GooglePlayStore is around 15% not 50%

I recently uploaded my app in the google play console account. I made all my images by my self and I have all of my psds as well but every time I publish my app google remove it from play store with the reason Violation of the intellectual property and impersonation or deceptive behavior provisions of the Content Policy. I have written all of my store listing my self. I dont what is the problem and I am very frustrated. I tried by changing the images 3 times and finally my account is now suspended. My app was about cricket world cup 2015. It gives you live scores and team fixtures information. I just used take images of team logos and players from internet. I can take a new account but I think it will not help my cause .... Can any one can help. I am really in trouble ?????

This is ridiculous.

On August, my app got suspended, without prior notice what was going wrong. I hate this.

On February, the app was updated with new application name. I noticed that I still use some artist images for the screenshot. On version x.1.3, my update was rejected.

Now I've changed everything: App name, logo, description, promotion banner, screenshots which use uncopyrighted images. My app update is still rejected. I filed them this issue, and also asked: "Now what's my mistake?" It's been 24 hours since I filed them.

I am developing an app for a FM radio station in my country (Bangladesh). So naturally it has the stations's logo, name and transmit URL. First time I upload the apk as beta and it is suspended within an hour. That time I put placeholder image in the icon, screenshot and banner. Thought when I'll move it to production, will change the images. So after suspension, I thought the placeholder images may cause problem.

To be more safe about copyright infringement, I took an officially signed authorization letter from the company for which I work indicating I am authorized to use their logo and other contents. I file an appeal against suspension attaching the authorization letter. I got the following reply:

Thanks for contacting Google Play. Your appeal has been submitted successfully and will be reviewed by a specialist. The ticket number for your appeal is referenced in the subject of this message.

We are currently experiencing high volumes, so there may be a delay in our response.

I got this email 12 days ago, but got no reply from Google.

My client is restless about the delay. So I decide to upload another apk, and this time icon, screenshots and banner is uploaded correctly. But no change in the result! I got suspension mail within half an hours:

After review, Radio Aamar (alpha), com.zeta5.android.fm.radioaamar, has been suspended and removed from Google Play as a policy strike because it violates the impersonation policy.

I am very much frustrated and under pressure of my client. But got no way how to figure out the actual problem of my app. Can you please tell me how can I make approve the app?

Hi Ratul, I am in exactly the same situation, but I have now been waiting for my second Appeal for a month.

Did they ever get back to you? How long did it take.

You must edit the images taken from internet, then there will be no problem.

google is very strict these days if you make a minor mistake your application will be suspend . i want to just update my application. after the update i get suspend. they said because of something in description

Its better to check the name of your related apps on google play store like "cricket world cup 2015" if your name is unique then live your app with your title otherwise change the name of app
