Media Player issues

After updating the phone I am having problems with the default media player - have also downloaded 3 other players that are exhibiting the same problem.

Issue is the media player is randomly stopping or tracks are skipping in the middle of songs.

I have
got a class 10 internal memory card
imported songs using kies, default windows media player and windows explorer at the highest possible bit rate
cleared the cache of the phone.

But still I have random issues with songs

Any ideas
