me and my friend wanted to see what will happen if i spam his phone......... i sent him close to 4300 messages and his whatsapp just crashed. after that every time i send him a message, doesn't matter what does it contain or how long it is.. it will crash again, is there a way to fix it?

Well @Mark, sorry if I am a little late on this one, but what you can do is open the device settings>application manager>Swipe left to all>Tap over the Whatsapp and clear the cache and the data stored. Now again try opening whatsapp I guess now things will work out for your friend !

how about format i guess that would do a needful to fix your problem
