Some of my friends live abroad. If I invite them to join Telegram Messenger will my sms be charged as an international text?
If I understood correctly as long as both parties have Telegram messenger installed in their mobiles the sms sent abroad are not charged. What happens when inviting friends to join Telegram messenger before they install the app into their mobile?

I do not know about Telegram Messenger, but why are you not using common stuff like WhatsApp? At least in the first year you are guaranteed that nothing extra will be charged. After one year usage it is like 99 cent for another whole year of usage.

I know but from what I read, Telegram Messenger is safer and much faster. I already use WhatsApp and Viber but I wanted to try Telegram Messenger. Any idea whether invites are free when sent abroad? Thanks, Dominique
