pattern screen lock turned off by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage

Hi,
I installed Kaspersky Internet Security for my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (Android 4.4.2) and after that, encryption by password is the only available method for the screen lock. All other options such as pattern, PIN, etc... are greyed out, saying

"turned off by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage"

I googled the problem and found that I should clear credentials, but this is also greyed out. Uninstalling Kaspersky hasn't solved the Problem either. I don't have a VPN connection.
