The main 'con' with installing cyanogenmod (or any custom ROM) is that you need to root your phone, which would probably invalidate any warranty. You also have to realise that any custom ROM can have bugs, though normally they get fixed quickly. Generally the pros and cons are subjective; CM ROMs are based on aosp (pure android) so are normally faster than stock, with added security and privacy features as well as the theme engine, but your stock apps (messaging, launcher, camera, music player etc) will be replaced by CM apps, and you'll lose your data (but there are plenty apps that you can use to back this up)

In easy language your phone will become beast it will have extra features. But you have to unlock bootloader and install recovery image. No neet to install root privileges since CyanogenMod will always provide root privileges in developers options!(cool)

Saying it rooting is not correct! Since no root privileges are required... Just saying it unlocking boot loader ia correct!(lightbulb)
