Well @Scott if you ask me then I would say I prefer using Whatsapp, and for the reason why I don't think I need to mention the reason over here 
anyway it's because I can find just anyone on whatsapp !!

There is no going around WhatsApp for me... since all of my friends and family use it

I use skype for instant messaging the reason is so simple because I like skype.
