LG Optimus F5 — No data and no imei

Friend of mine attempted to root his device and flash a ROM from mii.com I believe it was. Phone constantly rebooted itself, and would not connect to data or show imei.

So, I flashed stock android onto the device. Upon doing that, the phone still reboots itself, just not as often. It also says network disabled and will not show the imei.

What can be done? It is d955 though he says was d950. Tried flashing d950 stock and would not work. Only one that would was d955.

I would love to help! I need to know which version of Android you're running. If it's 5.1.1, I have bad news. Unfortunately, LG built the bootloader to be permanently locked if either 5.0 was aloud to update, or came with it. As of now, there is no fix available. Don't worry though, us devs are working hard at developing a solution. Please don't hesitate to pm or post with further information or questions. Jo
