Google Nexus 5 — Android 5.1 Update

Hi,

I'm still running 4.4.4 and still only get the notification to update on 5.0.1. Do I first install 5.0.1 to get the 5.1 update notification or should I just wait?
I only want to use the integrated update mechanism.
