Samsung Galaxy S3 — Need help for Bluetooth connection

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo just 2 weeks ago because it was recommended as having a good Bluetooth function. I wear hearing aids and have a Streamer Pro 1.3 connector that allows me to respond to the cell phone and hear directly via the hearing aids. My problem is that the Samsung loses the connection continually all day long. But it still says it is connected. I have to shut down the phone and reconnect repeatedly all day long and hope that whoever calls me, does so during the very short time that the connection lasts. Of course, when I went to the store, it worked fine. But it is not working at all at home or when I am out in my car or walking.. I do not know whether it has the latest software. I am computer/cell phone illiterate. I desperately need this cell phone to work.
