Hi there peeps.
Really hoping someone can help shed some light on this!
Sent a message on whatsapp. The message had 1 tick, so I believe that means it got to the whatsapp servers but not to the recipient's phone.
I didn't want them to get the message (I know I know stupid of me to send it in the first place) so I blocked them on whatsapp until I saw they'd come online...I did this because I heard if the message only has 1 tick if you block them then the whatsapp server won't send them the message.
So he's now unblocked and the message still only has 1 tick and no delivery/read info available for it. He's not mentioned the message so I'm wondering if anyone here can confirm if it delivered to him or not? Does temporarily blocking someone stop a message with 1 tick getting to them?
