Motorola Moto G (2014) — Android 5.1 update ???

Hello,
I updated my Moto G a few days ago and since then I have had nothing but trouble with my phone.
1, the battery consumption is really high, I used to only recharge every 2 - 3 days
2, I am using over 2gb of data a day, yet I am not using the internet only my Hotmail account, I only used approx. 250mb in the past.
I am getting really cheesed off with this, has anybody got any ideas how to solve these problems?
I think the main culprit I a thing called Exchange Services
I would appreciate any help with this.

do a factory reset
Motorola suggest us to do a hard factory reset after updating to solve some issue

like in Moto e 1st gen
after updating to 5.1 some users not able to turn off his mobile data
it sucks their balance but after reset the problem has been solved

so I suggest you to do a hard factory reset from settings ;-)

I will do a complete backup of all my data and then give it a try.
It will probably take me a few days to do this, but will let you know how I get on.
