Samsung Galaxy Note 4 — water damage on battery

First off, my phone did not get submerged in water. I put my phone down beside me after getting out of the pool, mind you I towel dried off. I noticed some water was dripping from me onto the side of the phone, so I wiped it off. A couple of minutes later my phone shut off. I knew it was charged, so I tried the old bag of rice trick. My indicator on the phone is still white, but my battery indicator is red, the phone still powers on, but with no screen. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
