Want to use What’s app after Factory resetting my phone while in overseas my no is not active to receive verification msg

I was using What’s app with a mobile number in my home country and then I moved overseas with same device. Although the SIM is inactive now I am able to continue using what’s app without any issue which is normal.
Now I have requirement to factory reset the device to overcome with some problem in device, while I am overseas.
After factory reset I will have to reinstall What’s app which will ask me to provide number for verification that I can though provide but will not receive message as I am in overseas.
I don’t have a plan to take a new no while I am overseas but want to use What’s app after Factory resetting my phone.
Please help.
