Any externally connected hard ware device, when connected to the computer, works only when they have a corresponding driver which is installed. In case a user is not able to access a printer from his or her system, there can be a few issues due to which the accessibility problem is being caused:-
a) The driver corresponding to the printer is not being accessed
b) The printer needs to installed in windows 8.x
Until and unless the driver and the printer to be accessed is not installed in the system, it would not be accessible from the system, or any other system in the network.
