Which one do you prefer? Paid edition without ad vs Free edition with ad

Suppose that there is a nice utility app on Google Play and it has either a paid edition or a free edition.

Which edition do you prefer to get? Is the paid edition without ads or the free one with ads supported? :)

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.

I Would choose with free apps with ads
most people can't afford paid apps
really many people don't like to play for software rather than antivirus cos it's just a software not a physical thing which make people not buy instead use free app with
U can earn more money with free ad app because if someone purchase your app he will only pay once but u can get money through ads till the user is using it

Some people would like to choose free edition with ads while someone else prefer a paid edition which is pure and without any advertising annoyance. ;)

Add free every time, most apps I've checked out are reasonably cheap, I've paid for pro version just as a way of showing a bit of gratitude for the dev...
Adds can also add extra data and upload time which can be annoying if you use that app regularly.

Last couple of apps I paid for, to be add free were funded by Google Opinion Rewards. :-)

I don't mind ads as long as they're not instrussive and I dont click on them accidentally. I just hate apps with ads popping up everywhere making it impossible to use the app...

It depends on the price and application type (game / app). If price is to high I am looking for something else to download. But I prefer paid applications.

People that don't have enough money for the paid edition will definitely choose the free app despite the annoying ads.

People with money for the paid edition will now think about if the price is worth it. So it depends on the application this time. If the app is so then they really want it then they might still buy it even if it's a bit expensive

As for people who really have lots of money, it now depends on where they want their money to be. But most of them will definitely go with the paid edition, they will still play the free edition with ad if they like the game and if the option to remove the ad by purchasing the app is not available.

Yes, I think so, too.
But we can try the full-free edition of some app prior to make a decision to pay for the paid one.

Free edition with low ads, as to many ads ruins the applications and makes it hard to use.

The free one. Because I can ignore the ads. There is no need to pay for it if the ads is the only difference.

I prefer free edition with ad

There are a lot of free apps on Google Play, no need to pay I think :)

I am personaly trying to increase downloads of my Wallpapergram app in Google Play
It is free and the only way to get money from is adds.

Unfortunately people don't like adds either..But such an app as mine (HD Wallpapers ) won't buy anyone, so I count on adds clicking (angel)

But if it is an utility app and its price is reasonable, I prefer to pay for a full-feature & pure edition.

Depends on the app. The apps I really find useful I have paid for, such as My Boy!, My OldBoy!, Shuttle Music Player, Album Art Downloader, just to name a few. If I find that I use the app a lot and it's productive, enjoyable and worth the couple bucks then I usually purchase it. I get to own the app, it's add-free and it helps the developer.
