newtrafficserver.com auto opens(ad)

I am recently having a trouble with my android browsers (including chrome&firefox). Whenever i tried to open any browser this website www.newtrafficserver.com opens and redirects to google play to download some useless app or some other useless ads. It also occurs whenever I open any media file through whatsapp or Gallery app, so i cannot view any media files. I also cannot install any apk files it too opens my default browser, then that website then the ad.Please somebody help. Thanks in advance.

I had the same newtrafficserver nuisance. What worked for me was:

Go to settings, then apps, then downloaded apps. You will see an app called Google Services. It's a rogue app. If it were a regular Google app, you will have uninstall updates button & not the uninstall button.

Uninstall the app and you're good to go.

I'm so pissed off with those who used Google to mask their terrible bug!

I have the same problem, but I don't have the Google Services app in downloaded apps. Have they found a new way to hide it?
