Can we recall a message sent out by WhatsApp?

When we trash a message already sent out by WhatsApp, will it delete the same message on the recipient's screen?

Yes, you need to re-install it, it sometime recovers the past messages too

Sorry, when I say to recall the message I meant to delete the message at the recipient end because I made an embarrassing mistake by sending the message to the wrong person.

I meant to remove the message I had sent earlier from the recipient's.
