LG G3 Cat.6 — very loud static for person I am calling

There are many times when I make a call to someone and all they hear when they answer is very loud static so they just hang up.. I do not hear it so I do not realize it is happening. If I am on a call with someone, at times they get to hear the static in the middle of the call and have to hang up as it is so very loud. I still hear none of that. Is this happening to anyone else and how do you think I should resolve this issue?

I should add that it is no longer under warranty- I called Verizon to see if it was a common complaint and of course they denied ever hearing of it
