Samsung Galaxy S5 — speaker volume

I just bought an S5, and find the speaker volume is fairly low, I would say much lower than on most phones.
Is there a way to internally increase the volume for notifications, ring tones, etc?

Get the app "Volume Control +" by Netroken from the Galaxy Apps Store. Note you can only find it in the GALAXY Apps Store. You should have a link to the store on your Galaxy S5.

You can change, set, and lock volume for notifications, ringers, media, etc separately. It works very well. I've been using it for a couple of years.
