My s5 has recently stopped making or taking calls, an error message " no signal or not registered on network" appears. No changes have been made to phone

Check your SIM on other phone, maybe you need to change it in your mobile provider's office.

Hello Vladimir S:

Make sure that you have inserted Sim in proper place. Second thing is that try hard reset from the recovery mode of Galaxy S5. This is a common issue in Samsung Handsets. My note 2 got the same problem then i had to fix it from the shop and it cost me $30. So first try to solve this issue in home and if it doesn't work then contact any of the mobile repairment shop.

Pull out your sim card, then insert it again to make sure the sim card be touching properly with your S5. Good luck to you.
