Motorola Moto G (2014) — no notifications on lock screen after marshmallow update

I don't get any notifications on lock screen after the marshmallow update. I have tried all settings changes that I'm aware of but no change. Also, when I get notifications on screen (but not on lock screen), there are no Hangouts notifications, although Hangouts works fne and is my default SMS. And, no text or gmail are anncounced or heard on my car BT. Thanks

I fix it in a very crazy way, i just log in in the 'visitor' account on android, and i delete this user, and i back to administrator and everything are allright. Try it!

That worked. I now have notifications on lock screen. I would never have thought of that fix in a million years.
