Up until one week ago, I was using a hardwire telephone and never even held or seen up close a cellphone. Then it happened (laughing)

Hi and thanks for the welcome. I have a ZTE with Virgin mobile. A week and a half into cellphones and trying to get comfortable with it. Coming from a 24" desktop, the tiny phone screen is such a radical difference. Pretty handy for checking email though.

Thanks Alex, yes, a month ago I was saying, "cellphone?" haha! not me. But then I began thinking, getting old, what if, you had some emergency? heart attack, mugged, beaten up, there are no phone booths around and people standing around me will just laugh and watch. So, I figured a phone might not be a bad idea. One good thing, I talk with literally a couple friends by email, and, use a phone only once a month if that much to see if a store is open.
