Marshmallow update issues

I am in desperate need of help. I do quite a bit of work from my phone and laptop. I updated to Marshmallow and now when I use the stock email app and forward attachments, the attachments show fine on my end but when the receiver gets them they show as gibberish in the text of the email and not attachments. Also when using my phone keypad during a call most of the keys I hit don't register with whoever I am calling. For example I dial into a conference call and key in the code for that particular call, I can see that I have hit all the keys but the conference line doesn't recognize that I have hit all the keys. If anyone can help with either issue, I would be so grateful.
