How to disable auto formatting

Hi,
can someone tell me how I can disable the auto formatting for bold?
E.g. when I write test I want to write test and not test.

Edit: LoL, same goes for the forum here. how do disable auto formatting here in the forum for something like ""test""?
Edit2: WTF, how can I write it? * test *
Edit3: Ok, thats the way: * test * -> How can I write this without white spaces in Whatsapp?
