is it possible to downgrade from 6.0 to 4.4

Hi new to the site. hoping someone can help, i need to run an app on devices but the devices are running android 6.01 and the app will only run below 5.0. I was wondering if there was a way to put 4.4 onto the wileyfox spark which has cyanogen on. Hope someone can help thanks

Seriously, it all depends on the OS version in the original ROM in your phone, if you intend to to do a factory reset.

It came with 5.0 so guessing that is the original. So does that make it impossible?

I think it's absolutely possible, recently I saw an article Downgrade Android 6.0 Marshmallow Back To Android KitKat there is a detailed tutorial how to return 4.4
unfortunately I can't add the link
