Samsung Galaxy S6 — Video downloading issues

I have a galaxy S6 running 6.0.1. With Chrome as stock browser. Question is, when downloading videos from browser, downloading stops when exiting from browser with no option to resume. There are no problems downloading music or .PDF files. Oor anything else. Might I have a setting wrong? P.s. Battery saver is disabled.

Could something as simple as rebooting your phone.

Been there, done that. Its always done this since I bought the phone new back in december. Im clueless. Thanks for the reply though.

I'm not the sharpest with these phones, have you thought about getting a vlc or MX player app from the playstore that'll change the video format don't know what type of videos you've been trying to download thats a simple fix. I had this problem when I was sent videos from Apples that fixed it.
