I purchased 2 Fire gen 5 tablets one in September one in October ,in June one died in August the other one died . They will charge to 1% ,basicjly dead. All, of Amazon tablets carry 1 year warranty except this one. As of this day no batteries are available . The batteries are made by Amperex Technologies Limited (atlbatteries.com) . I have tried to contact them by email at least twice with no reply. I have also emailed Amazon. Amperex is the same company that supplies Apple and Samsung. Is there some reason they don't want to supply batteries for this unit. If you go on the Amazon forum this is a wide spread problem. Amazon will give you ten dollars off on another unit. The only thing wrong is the battery.
