So basically, Whatsapp was working absolutely fine this whole time, until one day I was cleaning my phone to free some space and I cleared the Whatsapp cache/data. This meant I needed to verify again my phone number, but heres the thing, it won't verify. I have been waiting 2 weeks and it still hasn't verified, nothing.
I contacted Whatsapp support and they just told me to wait, they really didn't help me at all, and now they won't answer.
Yes I entered my phone number correct and all, and I rebooted,reinstalled, re-everythinged and nothing is working!
Another thing worth noting is that 4 months before this happened I changed service providers. Alongside the new Sim I got I requested my old number to be transferred to the new sim, which it has, and has been working normally this whole time
