Samsung Galaxy S4 Active — Device Not recognizing SD card

My Galaxy S4 does not recognize my SD card nor does it show the option to mount/dismount, format. Does anyone have a solution to this issue? I have inserted a 32GB SD card.

Actions you can take:
Check your SD Card first if it's okay...
Check your phone with another SD card ...
If it's okay with 1 of them you will find your answer

but if your SD card is working with other device and your phone doesn't recognized your alternate SD card ... You should take your phone to the professional ...

card is probably corrupted through not being ejected properly,try fixing it in windows pc/laptop.

I appreciate your suggestion however, my pc & laptop do not have the slots for this size card. I have a card reader but it also does not accommodate my card. Any further suggestions?
