Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 — Tab A 10.1 with s pen question

I just got my new tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tat A 10.1 with s-pen. One issue I have found is that when in MS Word and using the S-pen, how do you "enter" to go to the next line? The gesture, similar to a backwards "L" I've used on other devices does not work. Neither does the return key between the delete key and question key (with s-pen help). It only put a small box with a "?" in it.

The return key seems to work in other applications.

Any help or ideas is appreciated.
